i'm at matt lucas's house.

it's christmas. Joe and i gave a present (i.e. our new CD) to our hero Fred Erskine - former bassist/vocalist for Hoover, June of 44, The Crownhate Ruin, and others - last Friday. we're fucking obsessed w/ just about everything he's ever done.

we will re-emerge on Saturday, January 24th to play a show at Newsonic Headquarters (76 Rutlege bet. Bedford and Wythe in Hasidic Williamsburg) w/ the venerable duos People (Halvorson/Shea) and Dynasty (Deveau/Misterka). more info to come.

we played into a box and the box took the music and made it into computer music. then we could listen to it without playing it; all we had to do was use the computer. seth misterka is newsonic.
